Can Detroit Do That Every Night?

Last night, the Detroit Red Wings confused the San Jose Sharks with fellow Pacific division team the Phoenix Coyotes, as the Wings back was against the wall. Similar to the game seven blowout in round one against the Coyotes which saw the Red Wings cruise to a seven to two victory, the Wings proceeded to decimate the Sharks seven to one in game four of their second round matchup. Going into the game websites allowing NHL betting would have had the odds stacked against the Red Wings as they were down in the series three to nothing and would have been swept out of the playoffs had they lost. As a result, forwards Johan Franzen and Todd Bertuzzi, decided that last night was as good a night as any to finally show up in the series as they combined for 11 points in the blowout win. Franzen himself set a Detroit Red Wing record as he had six points including four goals and two assists. Bertuzzi on the other hand had one goal and four assists.

Eithier Slam A Memorable Moment In An Otherwise Forgettable Part of Dodgers Season

Ever since Manny Ramirez succumbed to injury, the Los Angeles Dodgers have struggled. Although the Northbet.com betting season is early there has not been much to look forward too for Dodger fans. Prior to outfielder Andre Eithier's grand slam to win the game last night, the Dodgers were an abysmal 12 and 16 good enough for last in their division. With a team full of stud prospects at first glance, it is hard to believe the Dodgers are struggling as much as they are without outfielder Manny Ramirez. Nevertheless, when betting baseball online, one should not be fooled by the Dodgers early woes, as they still have enough time to turn the ship around.
