Now that there is no real chance to win a Triple Crown in horse racing betting, we can shift our focus back to the major day-to-day North American sports. No, not ncaa football betting tips and football betting tips in general as it's too early for that.

On Tuesday night, the NBA held it's NBA Draft lottery, which is where the worst teams in the league are supposed to get the most help to improve themselves, but as per usual, that was not the case.

The New Jersey Nets, who flirted with posting one of the worst records in NBA history, actually didn't get the first overall pick even though they had the most ping-pong balls in the fixed lottery. The Washington Wizards, though, who could use a real pick-me-up after Gilbert Arenas and DeShawn Stevenson toted guns, surprisingly won the lottery.

Sorry Nets - you're going to be garbage for quite some time as the hope of John Wall and LeBron James isn't happening. At least Wall isn't going to make it there.

Meanwhile, the Wizards could be on the upswing very quickly. In the East, they could flirt with the playoffs next year as they have a decent tandem in Andray Blatche and Wall, assuming he pans out. But, he is supposed to be the one can't miss according to the sports lines odds in the 2010 NBA Draft.

Only time will tell.
