Any NCAA football fan that wants to see a couple of the best offenses in the country put up a ton of points against one another on the national stage should tune in to the Rose Bowl game presented by Vizio, as the Wisconsin Badgers are set to exchange blows with the Oregon Ducks at Pasadena, California. Considering that the Ducks ranked third in the country in scoring offense, and that Wisconsin was right behind them with the fourth-ranked scoring offense, this game should come down to which team can score last in an offensive showcase. While the sports betting focus will be on the two offenses after neither team was held to less than 27 points this past season, a closer look will reveal a battle of two of the nation’s top running backs, as Oregon’s LaMichael James looks to bring home another championship trophy as he runs opposite of Montee Ball for the Badgers. James averaged an incredible 7.4 yards per carry while rushing for 1,646 yards and 17 scores in his second season, while Ball averaged slightly less per carry but got more touches in compiling 1,759 yards and an outstanding 32 touchdowns. Unlike a year ago when the Ducks ended up in the BCS national championship game and were slowed down by a talented Auburn defense, this game will allow them to capitalize on their speed and quickness in what should be the highest scoring bowl game, with Oregon coming out on top at the end as the winner and the pay head odds favorite. |
